Timothy L. Overmyer
Timothy L. Overmyer, 63, of Argos, passed away at 3:21 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
He was born June 5, 1952 in South Bend, the son of Lloyd Overmyer, Jr. and Wanda L. (Brandisbas) Overmyer.
He was a 1971 graduate of Argos High School and attended Apostolic Bible Institute, St. Paul, Minn. He was a lifetime resident of St. Joseph and Marshall Counties; he was a heavy equipment operator and a member of International Union of Operating Engineers, local 150. Tim was also a very faithful member of the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, cooking and most of all his family.
Timothy married the love of his life, Kim Poling on May 6, 1994 and she survives. In addition to his wife, Kim he is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Overmyer and Emily Overmyer both of Argos; a sister, Valerie Overmyer of South Bend; a brother, Philip ((Lynn) Overmyer of Argos and his dog, “Harley;” four nieces; and six nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
You are invited to celebrate Timothy’s life with family and friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 in Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, 201 N. Bourbon St., Bourbon. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church with Pastor Mark Cottrill officiating.
Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
