David Dee Cox
David Dee Cox, 54, of rural Wabash, died at 7:45 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born Nov. 12, 1961, in Marion, to Larry Dee and Jenny (Wilson) Cox.
David was a 1980 graduate of Marion High School. He married Glenna Branson in Huntington County, Indiana, on July 18, 2002. He worked as a team leader at T.I. Automotive, in Ossian, Indiana for the past 10 years. He attended Jalapa Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of ABATE of Indiana. David enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, fishing, and his family.
He is survived by his wife: Glenna Cox, Wabash; mother: Jenny Cox, Marion; three children: Benjamin and Anthony Cox, both of Marion; and Crystal Gayle (Aaron) Lochard, LaFontaine; nine grandchildren; sister and brothers: Dawn Leann Cox and Donald Cox, both of Marion;Richard Cox, Huntington; and his in-laws, Jim and Sue Branson, Wabash.
He was preceded in death by father.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Bill Bowling and Rev. Charles Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4-7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Wabash County Cancer Society.
