Readers Vote For Family In Thanksgiving Day Poll
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Earlier this week, InkFreeNews posed a question to our readers: What does Thanksgiving mean to you?
You took to our website and Facebook page to share your opinions, and although the poll options couldn’t be all-inclusive, you responded with enthusiasm.
The results indicated that 61 percent of the responders felt that being able to spend time with family was still the most important part of the holiday.
16 percent of the votes indicated Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful, with 9 percent of you shamelessly admitting it’s all about the food.
The last 14 percent was split between celebrating the heritage of our nation (7 percent),serving others (5 percent), and for Christmas being around the corner (2 percent).
