Area Locations Offer Thanksgiving Meals
In case you didn’t get a chance to plan for Thanksgiving, or you had a kitchen catastrophe, here are a few local places you can gobble up some traditional Thanksgiving cuisine to celebrate:
Syracuse
- Syracuse Eagles will be serving Thanksgiving dinner from 1-4 p.m. Thursday, Eagles, Aerie 3760, 12889 Kern Road. Public welcome. Donations appreciated.
- Oakwood Resort is offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26. Cost is $26 for adults, $14 for children ages five to 12, free for children under the age of five. For reservations, call (574) 457-8700.
North Webster
- American Legion Post 253 will be serving Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, Legion, 756 S. SR 13. Public welcome. Donations appreciated.
Warsaw
- The Warsaw Elks #802, with the help of area businesses, will host its annual free community meal at the Warsaw Center Lake Pavillon, Thursday, Nov. 26. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those needing a meal delivered to their home are asked to contact the Elks at (574) 267-7802 prior to Thanksgiving day.
Nappanee
- Amish Acres is hosting a Thanksgiving Buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26. The cost is $18.95 for adults, and $1.25 per age in years of the child.
