Nancy Joan Plummer
Nancy Joan Plummer, 78, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
She was born on Aug. 21, 1937, in Wilkesbarre, Pa. to Dr. Gwen and Hazel (Welch) Haig.
She graduated from Caro High School, Caro, Mich. and Parsons Business School, Kalamazoo, Michigan. She worked at Zimmer in International Customer Service retiring after 18 years. She was privileged to work 3 years for the Beaman Home until she had to quit and was very proud of her work there.
She loved her five children and their families who survive: Dottie Robinson, West Chester, Ill.; Steven Parrish, St. Louis, Mo.; Shelly Parrish Rose, Austin, Texas; Nancy Caroline Parrish, Warsaw; and Sara Wallace Sutton, Warsaw. She also loved and is survived by her sister: Judy Mengel, Chicago; her close friends and neighbors: Delores Sturgis, Warsaw; Linda Sanders, Warsaw; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She loved her sweet companion dogs: Regis; Bella; and Dolly; and also Tiffany and Max who are in heaven.
A private family service will be held.
