Joshua Allen Hersha
Joshua Allen Hersha, 31, Larwill, passed away at 2:23 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, in his residence.
On March 25, 1984, he was born in Warsaw, to John and Lisa (Barrett) Hersha. He was united in marriage to Bethany Hamilton on Feb. 25, 2014, in Warsaw, who was his life partner for many years.
Joshua lived most of his life in the Kosciusko and Whitley County areas, where he attended Whitko Community School, until moving to Wahiawa, Hawaii. He graduated from Leilahuah High School in 2003.
He worked for Main Bowl, Columbia City in maintenance and attended Barbee Baptist Church. Everywhere he would go; his smile would light the room. He enjoyed economic growth and demographic research and numbers, studying economic growth of the local area towns and schools. He also liked to go to town meetings in Kosciusko and Whitley Counties.
He is survived by his wife: Bethany Hersha, Larwill; two children: Addisyn Hersha; Mason Hersha, Larwill; his mother and stepfather: Lisa and Michael Gulley, Warsaw; his father: John Hersha, Larwill; two brothers: Cody and Cory Hersha, Larwill; two sisters: Heather Hersha, Larwill; and Stephanie Gulley, Syracuse; and numerous aunts; uncles; and cousins. Joshua was preceded in death by his sister: Danielle Gulley; his grandparents; two uncles; Darrell Clark; and William Clark; and two cousins: Brandy Clark; and Jennifer Jones.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be in Mock Cemetery, North Webster. Visitation hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, and also Saturday, Nov. 28, in the Warsaw Funeral Chapel.
