UPDATE: Accident Reported On CR 475E
UPDATE — Fog was the cause of a two-vehicle accident this morning at CR 450N and CR 475E, Leesburg. One driver, Karin M. Short, 52, Leesburg, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital after complaining of neck and back pain.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy James Marshall reports Tiffany K. Makinson, 31, Pierceton, was northbound on CR 475E approaching CR 450N and the Short vehicle was at the stop sign on CR 450N heading westbound. Makinson stated she did not see the intersection and stop sign due to the heavy fog. Once she saw the intersection and the Short vehicle she applied the brakes, but was unable to stop, sliding through the intersection, hitting the front of Short’s vehicle. Both vehicles slick off the northwest corner of the intersection.
The accident occurred at 8:15 a.m.
Damage was estimated up to $25,000.

LEESBURG — One person is being transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of East CR 450N and North CR 475E, south of Shoe Lake, Leesburg.
The accident involved a Ford Flex and an Infinity.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, North Webster Fire Department and EMS responded.
