Sky Zone Mishawaka Looking To Fill 100 Positions
MISHAWAKA — Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Mishawaka is set to open at the end of December, but they are looking to fill 100 positions now.
They will be holding a hiring event on Sunday at the Morris Inn at Notre Dame from 1-5 p.m. All they ask is that you go to their website and fill out an application and bring it with you to the event. Sky Zone Mishawaka General Manager Jeff Petermann says the event is going to be like a speed dating interview. After the event they will take all of the applications and call people the next week. If you are hoping to fill one of their positions, here is what they are looking for.
“Excitement. There are things that you just don’t train like that excitement and that enthusiasm. Those pieces, willing to learn, are just so important because the other pieces, the things like the court monitoring, the cashier pieces, those are pieces that we can take you through training operations on that. So, just a big smile and someone who loves people and making them happy,” says Petermann.
Some of the positions they are looking to fill are court monitors, cashiers, café positions, event assistance, event hosts and more.
For those that don’t know what Sky Zone is, it is a trampoline park. Petermann says anyone who can walk can jump. They even have toddler time where you can bring your young one and spend time with them. They also have sky fit classes, open jump, a foam zone and more.
Even with all of these things going on Petermann says safety is key.
“Safety is a big part of fun because if you are not being safe the fun stops at some point. So, Sky Zone has made it a huge priority to make safety paramount. We do things all the way from, really when you first walk in hearing portions of the rule speech to before you even come up here, the staircase over there, you are going to get an entire rule speech on everything that is expected and we really enforce those,” says Petermann.
Again, Sky Zone is set to open late December. They will start taking parties towards the first part of January. If you want to get in before the general public all you have to do is ”like” their Facebook page. Petermann says they will have a special Facebook night and all of the details will be on there.
