Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
6:27 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, West Old Road 30 west of North CR 875W, Etna Green. Driver: Brittany E. Baker, 25, West CR 250S, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
7:25 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, South SR 15 and CR 400S, Warsaw. Drivers: Robert L. Hawley, 86, West Hoppus Road, Warsaw, and John A. Nichols, 45, West Sunset Shore Drive, Silver Lake. Hawley turned into Nichols’s path and their vehicles collided, pushing Nichols’s vehicle into a high voltage power pole, causing damage to the pole. A witness also described the accident. Damage up to $50,000.
1:34 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18. East Acorn Drive east of East Levi Lee Road, Leesburg. Driver: Kody W. Michaelson, 22, North Pearl Street, Etna Green. Michaelson swerved to miss a deer and his vehicle rolled into a ditch. Damage up to $5,000.
6:44 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, North Third Trail, North Webster. Driver: Tori N. Lambright, 20, North Dolan Drive, Syracuse. Hit fence. A shed was also damaged when the fence hit it. Damage up to $10,000.
6:13 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, North CR 700E north of East CR 500N, North Webster. Driver: Brice A. Wellington, 20, North Ward Lane, North Webster. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:17 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Daniel C. Levernier, 92, North Main Street, Milford, and Weston L. Hall, 28, South CR 400W, Warsaw. Levernier was turning left in the Wal-Mart parking lot and Hall was backing out of a parking space and their vehicles collided. Damage up to $2,500.
