Anna Lee Shepherd
Anna Lee Shepherd, 91, Warsaw, went to be with her Lord and Savior. She died at 4:48 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at Millers Merry Manor in Warsaw.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1923, in Prestonsburg, Ky. to Carrie and Laura (Fugitt) Burke. She has lived in Kosciusko County since 1944, where she was a homemaker. On May 1, 1943, she was united in marriage to Billy Shepherd who preceded her in death on June 1, 2007.
She is survived by her children: Billy Shepherd, Bourbon; Donna Kay Wiechers, Seminole, Fla.; Malcom (Lilly) Shepherd, Harvest, Ala.; Carrey (Susie) Warsaw; Bobby Shepherd, Warsaw; and Laura Brashere, Warsaw; her sisters: Addie Mae Rose, Prestonburg, Ky.; Esther (Robert) Mosley, Hubertus, Wis.; and Virginia (Robert) Myers, Warsaw; sister-in-laws: Fannie (Robert) Cozzi, Warsaw; and Mary (Dan) Murphy, Greeley, Colo.; 29 grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Shepherd; five brothers: Charles; Paul; Douglas; John; and Malcom; a daughter: Dorothea Ann Allen; and a grandson: Chris Bowser.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Terry Bradford presiding. Burial will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
