Hagg Receives State Technology Coordinator Award
At the annual Hoosier Educational Computer Coordinators Conference, Brad Hagg, WCS Chief Technology Officer, was the honored recipient of the Technology Coordinator of the Year Award. HECC members strive to be a teacher resource for teachers using innovative technology in their classroom. The annual TCOY award distinguishes one individual in K-12 education for demonstrating commitment to leadership with technology and learning for students and staff.
Mr. Hagg has served the Warsaw Community Schools since 2012 having been involved with educational technology for the past seventeen years. In the nomination submission, WCS Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert stated, “Mr. Hagg possesses and daily portrays vision and action as one of the foremost experts in the field. His actions have transformed our technology department, and more importantly, student learning for the 7,200 within WCS. His positive attitude, innovative leadership and strong moral values create the ideal candidate for this award.”
Mr. Hagg has also been recognized as a National School Boards Association (NSBA) “20 to Watch”, served on the HECC Board, HECC Past President, CoSN CETL certified and exam question writer, conference presenter and a member of the DOE e-Learning Leadership Cadre.
