Janet Mae Moore
Janet Mae (Elam) Moore, 76, Goshen, died 8:10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at her residence.
She was born May 8, 1939 in Vandalia, Ill. to Dennis & Mildred (Arndt) Elam.
She married Edwin C. Moore on March 22, 1969.
Janet had a B.S. in nursing from Greenville College and one year at Prairie Bible Institute, Alberta, Canada and served as a missionary nurse in Haiti. She was a radio broadcast personality on “Womans World” and “Dr. Bob & Jan Show” and was a marketing representative for WCMR/WFRN for a number of years. Janet was a member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church. She deeply loved Jesus and her family.
Surviving are her husband, Edwin; children: Charles (Chris) Moore, Pierceton; Douglas (Lisa) Moore, Goshen; Rachelle (Aaron) Brandt, Bristol; and grandchildren: Brayden, Nathaniel, Hannah, Ben, Gabe, Josh, Kate, Luke, Lauren and Peter.
Preceding her in death are her parents.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. service on Saturday, Nov. 21, all at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, 61115 SR 15, Goshen. Pastor Harold Knight and Pastor Bill Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
