Ronald Thomas Konkle
Ronald Thomas Konkle, 59, Pierceton, passed away at 12:58 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, in his residence.
On Feb. 29, 1956, he was born in Warsaw, to Sylvan and Doris (Shafer) Konkle. He was united in marriage to Sandra Collier on Sept. 17, 1993, in Warsaw, who survives.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Ronald served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict from 1973 – 1975. He worked for Kimble International and then J.B. Pallet as an assembler.
He is survived by his wife: Sandra Konkle, Pierceton; three children: Paul Wayne Konkle, Avilla; Richard Cain, Warsaw; and Kristi Goss, Salem; his mother: Doris Palmer, Warsaw; six sisters: Laura Deckery, New Bern, N.C.; Penny Blair, Warsaw; Kim Mitchell, Leesburg; Patty Rice, Warsaw; Vicki Lambert, Warsaw; Elizabeth Konkle, Hudson, Fla.; and three brothers: Gary Konkle, Warsaw; Wilson Konkle, Hudson, Fla.; and John Konkle, Hudson, Fla. He was also survived by five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Legion Circle at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, with Pastor Bob Jarboe officiating and with military honors by American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126, Warsaw.
