Jack Ford
Jack Ford, 82, Warsaw, passed away at 3:28 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, in Grace Village Healthcare Center, Winona Lake.
On July 22, 1933, he was born in Auxier, Ky. to Bill and Norma (Preston) Ford. He was united in marriage to Maudie Slone on July 31, 1965, who survives. Living most of his life in Kosciusko County, Jack served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Dalton Foundry, Warsaw, after many years of service and he helped with building the Biblical Gardens of Center Park, Warsaw.
He is survived by his wife: Maudie Ford, Winona Lake; his son: Henry Ford, Warsaw; his stepson: Charles Haywood, Warsaw; and two stepdaughters: Priscilla Ford, Ala.; and Judy Skeens, Ky.; 13 grandchildren: Blake Ford; Zack Ford; Josh Ford; Andrea Ford; Allison Ford; Judy Haywood; Charlie Haywood; Bobbie Junker; Robert Ford; Billy Ford; Tammy Ritz; Michael Hale; Jodi Zook; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; four sisters; and a stepdaughter: Anna Grace Hale.
A funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military honors by the American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, in the funeral chapel.
