Casa Holiday Festival Fundraiser Auctioning Over 75 Items
WARSAW — Court Appointed Special Advocates of Kosciusko County, better known as CASA, will host its 14th annual Holiday Festival fundraiser from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Image Air Charters, 2815 Foreman Drive, Warsaw, at the Warsaw Airport. This year’s theme is “CASAblanca — Here’s look’n out for your kid!”
Guests will find themselves stepping right into the atmosphere from the Casablanca movie.
This year CASA is implementing new and exciting changes to the Holiday Festival. Instead of the traditional beer and wine tasting, each attendee will be provided two free drink vouchers to use on beer, wine or the signature cocktail. In addition, there will be a cash bar provided by Noa Noa.
The event will feature food vendors from local restaurants and catering companies that will be preparing Mediterranean inspired dishes. Entertainment will be provided by Symphony of the Lakes.
There is an option of purchasing a VIP ticket that permits guests to be a part of an upscale food and a wine tasting cocktail reception from 6-7 p.m.
The event will consist of approximately 500 guests to include corporate sponsors, business leaders and other CASA supporters from Northern Indiana.

CASA of Kosciusko County is a nonprofit organization committed to speaking for the best interest of children who are at risk for abuse and neglect. CASA recruits, trains and supports volunteers to serve as advocates for children in the family court system. With help from the community, this year’s Holiday Festival is expected to raise over $100,000, which will be used to help local children in need of services.
The demand for CASA is greater than ever and the cost associated to serve a single child can be as much as $1,000. Support at this year’s event will enable CASA to continue training volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children and allow for the necessary tools needed for future volunteer recruitment and on-going supervision.
“The children of our community need your help. The children whose voices our volunteers represent are brought into the court system due to no fault of their own. They need specially trained individuals to inform the court as to what is needed to meet their best interests,” states Mackenzie Cloutier, CASA executive director.
