Panthers Power Past Mishawaka
NAPPANEE – The number 13 was a good thing for the NorthWood girls basketball team Tuesday night.
A trio of Panthers scored 13 points to lead the hosts past Mishawaka 56-42 in non-conference action.
The threesome of Taitlyn Trenshaw, Savannah Feenstra and McKayla Fielstra each had 13 points to pace the Panthers to the victory.
NorthWood outscored Mishawaka 16-7 in the second quarter and 20-11 in the final frame to collect the win.
Lauren Grewe led Mishawaka with 15 points.
NorthWood, now 2-1, will play at Rochester Saturday with the JV game at noon. Mishawaka (0-1) hosts Chesterton Saturday night.
