Shop For Cure JM Today In Warsaw
WARSAW — There is still time to shop for Cure JM, an organization dedicated to research for Juvenile Dermatomyositis, a condition so rare it is referred to as an “orphan disease.”
Kristine Alderer’s daughter, Katherine, is a rare one in 2 million born with JM. More than 50 vendors line two hallways and fill the gymnasium with items for sale. The vendors from today’s event will donate a percentage of their proceeds to Cure JM.
Shop For Cure JM will continue until 2 p.m. today, Saturday, Nov. 7, at Sacred Heart School, 135 N. Harrison St., Warsaw. Examples of vendor items for sale include but are not limited to jewelry, crocheted hats, alpaca wool products, foods and seasonings, scrapbooking and scent melts.
Door prize drawings take place throughout the day and a raffle is set for the end of the event, with more than 30 prize baskets to choose from.
