Changes Noted For NorthWood Girls Hoops
NAPPANEE – The NorthWood girls basketball program has announced a couple of schedule changes for the upcoming season.
The Nov. 14 game at Rochester will now be played in the afternoon instead of at night. The junior varsity game will begin at noon with the varsity contest to follow.
The Dec. 17 home game versus Jimtown will be played at Nappanee Elementary School instead of at NorthWood High School. The JV tilt will tip-off at 6 p.m. with the varsity game to follow.
The Panthers’ season opener that was scheduled for Nov. 3 at Penn was already moved to Nov. 7 due to the Penn girls soccer team playing in the state championship game this past weekend. The JV game this Saturday will begin at Penn at noon with the varsity contest to follow.
NorthWood opens its season Nov. 5 by hosting South Bend Riley.
