I support Jack Wilhite and Cindy Dobbins for City Council. Cindy has worked hard on the City Council to provide great city services while maintaining low taxes. Cindy is eager to listen to citizen’s concerns.
Jack Wilhite is an area resident since 1963. He has been married to Theresa for 40 years. He has been involved in our community as a local church elder, Boy Scout leader, Little League coach and precinct committeeman.
Jack Wilhite has worked his way up from maintenance into a manufacturing engineer position in our Orthopedic industry. Jack knows that successful projects are built from the ground up, not from the top down.
Jack Wilhite has attended the Warsaw Council meetings the last 3 years. He is knowledgeable about the issues Warsaw is facing and the solutions that Warsaw is working on. Jack believes it is important to listen to us as citizens to find what is right for Warsaw.
Jack Wilhite is visionary. An example is his support of Warsaw’s North Buffalo Street Project. The problem is the needed infrastructure renovation including deteriorating utility services, sidewalks and streets. The vision is to revitalize the area by creating a new North Buffalo Street with an enticing atmosphere including residence, recreation and retail. The benefit will be similar to the Central Park Project completed in 1995. The goal is minimal cost and maximum benefit to the citizens. The plan is to accomplish this revitalization by providing a vision beneficial to the citizens and then attracting developers to turn that vision into reality. I feel this project will benefit us as existing citizens. I also feel this project will help attract prospective employees to Warsaw. We need these high skilled workers to grow our economy.
Jack Wilhite knows the importance of promoting job growth. He knows that government cannot create jobs and that government if it is not careful can stand in the way of jobs. He knows government should not place barriers in the way of jobs. However, Jack also knows that the Warsaw can remove obstacles to job creation. Warsaw can entice both new and established business with incentives.
I support Jack Wilhite for City Council because he will work to foster job creation. Jack will listen to us as citizens. Jack believes in individual liberty. Jack will work for a better Warsaw while fighting to keep our taxes low.
