Susie Barber Jackson
Susie Barber Jackson, 75, Warsaw, died at 3:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Indiana University Health Goshen Hospital, Goshen.
She was born Sept. 8, 1940, in Warsaw, to Dail Sr. and Edy (Cochran) Barber, and was a 1958 graduated of Beaver Dam High School. She married Larry Jackson on June 22, 1985, in Burket, and was a lifetime Warsaw resident. She retired while office manager for Warsaw Black Oxide after 40 years of service. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Parents Without Partners; and a participator in 4-H.
Susie is survived by husband: Larry Jackson, Warsaw; two daughters: Loni (Dan) O’Hara, Claypool; Heather Phillips, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two sons: Ken (Pam) Parks, Anderson; and Michael Jackson, Muncie; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother: Dail (Jan) Barber Jr., Akron; and one sister: Buni (Bill) Leininger, Akron. She was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, and the service will be at 6 p.m. following, officiated by Pastor Bill Wood, Packerton United Methodist Church, Packerton. Memorials can be made to Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County. Titus Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
