Robert Shelton
Robert Shelton, 54, passed away at 4:55 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Oct. 23, 1960, in Ironton, Ohio, to James F. Shelton and Peggy J. (Creger) Evans, and lived most of his life in Warsaw. He worked maintenance at Southwire Cable Works for 8 months. He belonged to the Warsaw Moose Lodge. He loved working on cars, golfing, and was an avid fisherman. His family meant the world to him and he was always available to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his former wife: Mary Shelton, Warsaw; son: Bobby Lee Shelton, Warsaw; stepdaughters: Amy Hardy, Warsaw; Ashley O’Connor, Warsaw; Kathryn Logan, Warsaw; Jennifer Logan, Warsaw; stepsons: Billy Hardy, Warsaw; David Logan, Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren: Seth Goodwin; Kaelyn Logan; Christopher Logan; Emma Logan; Quinton Logan; McKynzie Logan; and Lillie Logan; sisters: Patty Jacobs, Warsaw; Sherry (Leonard) Blanton, Vinton, Ohio; Elaine (Ron) Trumbull, Warsaw; Linda (Tom) Stapleton, Lake City, Fla.; Catherine Shelton, New London, Wis.; Cynthia Eubanks, Palatka, Fla.; Carol Weber, Ocala, Fla.; Christine Shelton, Ocala. He was preceded in death by father: James Shelton, on April 13, 2009; mother: Peggy Evans, on March 24, 2010; and sister: Paula Blankenship, on Sept. 19, 2010.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Bob Jarboe, Chaplain of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
