Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
6:57 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, East US 30 west of South CR 900E, Pierceton. Driver: Andrew W. Ley, 32, North CR 100E, Roanoke. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
10:11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, South Packerton Road north of East CR 600S, Claypool. Driver: Asiah N. Skeens, 22, Crestview Drive, North Manchester. Skeens swerved to miss an object in the road and her vehicle rolled into a ditch. Damage up to $10,000.
7:47 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, South CR 700E south of East CR 850S, Pierceton. Driver: Fred M. Kreps, 38, East CR 750S, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
5:31 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, North Birdie Court and East Dogleg Drive West, Syracuse. Driver: Tina M. Cannon, 38, North Birdie Court, Syracuse. Hit parked car. Damage up to $1,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:23 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, North SR 13 north of East CR 800N, North Webster. Drivers: Brayden T. Roe, 21, West Himes Street, North Webster, and Dawn D. Stineback, 44, North Center Street, North Webster. Roe began to pass Stineback but attempted to merge back into the lane and his vehicle hit hers. Damage up to $2,500.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
2:25 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, West Pickwick Drive west of East Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Tiffany N. Hunter, 25, East Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Hit parked car. Damage up to $5,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, Kings Highway and Argonne Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Samuel R. Fowler, 25, Second Street, Winona Lake, and Brian L. Lursen, 58, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Lursen braked suddenly to avoid hitting another vehicle and Fowler’s vehicle rear-ended his. Damage up to $2,500.
