INDOT Goes Pink In Support Of Breast Cancer Awareness
INDIANA — INDOT Commissioner Brandye Hendrickson, the deputy commissioners and district deputy commissioners have invited INDOT employees to join them in wearing pink for the day for $1 to support breast cancer awareness. Field staff, highway techs and mechanics who wish to participate will be provided with pink arm bands to show support, along with their high visibility clothing.
“Everyone in this agency either knows someone with or has personally battled breast cancer” said Commissioner Brandye Hendrickson. “Let’s go pink and raise awareness for those brave souls.”
Photos of INDOT employees wearing pink will be shared on INDOT’s social media platforms throughout the day with the hashtag #INDOTGoesPINK.
INDOT will donate all the proceeds to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
