Steven Henry Rowe
Steven Henry Rowe, 50, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly from Warsaw, died on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, in Phoenix. He was born April 17, 1965, in Knox, to Faye Smith and Abe Rowe. On Feb. 15, 2013, he married Delores Ovalle in Las Vegas.
Steve graduated from Knox High School, Knox, in 1983, and attended Ball State University. He worked in sales for Explorer Van Company then spent many years selling cars around the country. He attended Warsaw Community Church and Cornerstone Church, Ariz. Steve loved life and lived out loud! He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He treasured his family, especially his niece and nephews. He was an avid Cubbies and Laker fan and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was also a huge Warsaw Tiger Fan! Steve made friends everywhere he went. Whether you knew him as Steve, The Dude, Rowdy, Clark, or Uncle Rowe, he was unforgettable. He left a legacy of laughter and love with everyone he met.
Steve leaves behind so many who loved him, including his wife: Delores Rowe, Phoenix, Ariz.; mother: Faye (Bill) Smith, Warsaw; brother: Mark (Kristin) Rowe, Atlanta, Ga.; sister: Cindy (Keith) Reinholt, Leesburg; stepsister: Kelly Miller, Granger; niece: Zoey Rowe, Atlanta, Ga.; nephews: Turner Rowe, Atlanta, Ga.; Tyler (Brittany) Reinholt, Orlando, Fla.; Trevor (Britteny) Reinholt, Grayson, Ga.; Tommy (Lindsay) Reinholt, Minneapolis, Min.; and many aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends who were family to him. He was preceded in death by his father: Abe Rowe.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 17, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Trevor Reinholt of The Cross Loganville Church, Loganville, Ga. officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon before the service Saturday. A private burial will be held at Highland Cemetery, North Judson, at a later date. The family kindly requests memorials be made to Baker Youth Club, Warsaw.
