Paula Stringer
Paula Stringer, 78, Warsaw, passed away peacefully in her home at 12:49 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, following a brief illness.
She was born May 29, 1937, in Peru, Ill. to Zurita and D.G. Storkman. On Dec. 10, 1982, she married Ken Stringer who preceded her in death in 2007. She has resided in Warsaw since 1983 where she founded P.S. Products, a successful leaded glass business serving the RV industry. She was rewarded by the community for her dedication to providing employment opportunities to the mentally challenged and other people in need.
She was a warm and kind person who touched many hearts. Her many friends and family will truly miss her fun-loving spirit and ready smile.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandson: Bobby Lee Angel; son-in-law: Bobby Angel, West Palm Beach, Fla. Warsaw survivors include her sister: Barbara Calhan; nieces: Paula (Ty) Zeigler; Cassy (Scott) Stewart; her sisters: Audrey (Don) Burton, Peru; Norma Cattani, Peru; brothers: Richard (Mary Ellen) Storkman, LaSalle, Ill.; Robert (Carol) Storkman, Peru, Ill.; Larry (Dottie) Storkman, Earlville, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her amazing daughter: Rebecca Larson Angel; her brother: Kenneth Storkman; her sister: June Hebel; and her parents.
Calling is from 3-5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. There will be a Celebration of Life at 5 p.m. led by Pastor Erik Ohman of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where Paula was a member. In addition, a memorial service is planned Nov. 7, in Peru, Ill.
