William K. ‘Bill’ Hanselman
William K. “Bill” Hanselman, 66, of Bourbon, passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015.
Bill was born on June 28, 1949, in LaPorte, to William A. Hanselman and Clara D. (Ross) Hanselman.
He was a 1969 graduate of Oregon Davis High School in Grovertown. He enjoyed working at a family business: The Buck Rub. After retiring, he spent time with his family — most of all, his grandchildren — watching the Indianapolis Colts, doing outdoor crafts, and playing catch with his dogs Lilly and Bella.
Bill married Marilyn L. Ellinger, Aug 18, 2003. She survives along with his father: William A. Hanselman and stepmother: Cathy L. (Tibbs) Hanselman; mother-in-law: Erma L. Ellinger; brother: Albert E. Hanselman (Yvette); sister: Iona P. Chaney (Dan); five daughters: Sgt. Joyce D. Hanselman (Cindy Endsley), Renee D. Greene (M Sgt. Derek Greene), Billie S. Siegfred (Robert), Chassity L. Dillon (Todd Dillon MD) and Crystal D. Kleespie (Isaac); 12 grandchildren, “Bill’s Pals:” Chenee (Caleb Adams), Alex, FC3 Jesse W. Hanselman, Joseph, Huntley (Kylee Davis), Isaac, Bahley, Ashley, Jayden, Kennedy, Darienne and Thomas; two great-grandchildren: Brayson and Rylee; and several other family members and friends.
He proceeds in death with his mother, Clara D. Hanselman, and four brothers: Werddie, David, Douglas and Jake.
A public viewing will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home located at 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the funeral home with Rev. Chris Stull officiating.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
Monetary donations will be accepted at Deaton-Clemens to help with funeral expenses.
