ETNA GREEN — The 17th Annual Shrine Turkey Shoot will be held from 10-4 p.m. Oct. 10 and 11, Saturday and Sunday, at Beeson’s Gun Range, 8994 West County Road 25 South, Etna Green. Last year, over $7,500 was raised in just two days due to local sportsmen and their families.
The annual shoot is to support the Kosciusko County Shrine Club. The Kosciusko County Shrine Club, celebrating 75 years, is best known for the annual trip for 3rd graders to the “Shrine Circus.” In addition, the club supports many other local and national philanthropic organizations. The Turkey Shoot is a fantastic way for the community to support the local Kosciusko County Shrine Club. The public is welcome. Bring the family for food, fellowship and plain old Indiana fall fun to support the Shrine.
Shoot a paper target, bring your own gun or we can provide one, shells are provided. Shoot for Maple Leaf Farms Duck, Serenade Foods Chicken, WalMart turkeys, meat packages or cash. Children, age 14 and under, shoot a .410 to win a .410 provided by Hunting and Tactical Solution of North Webster.
Participants may come for a shoot, or a fantastic sportsmen’s “Silent Auction.” The following local merchants, sponsoring the event, are committed to community and include: Ace Hardware, Akron Concrete, Alderfer- Bergen, Albertson’s Sport Shop, American Legion/VFW Honor Guard, Brett Anderson, Back 40, Batesville, John and Eva Blackburg, Culligan of Warsaw, Derry Electric, Eagle Creek Firearms, Five Star/Jay Solloway and Family, Hall- Marose and Silveus, Hunting and Tactical Solutions, Jellystone Campground, Kehler Law Firm, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Lake City Honda, Lakeside Chevrolet, Lakeview Liquors, Liquid Assets, Maple Leaf Farms/Serenade, Martin’s Supermarket, McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Miejer’s, Miner/Lemon Law Office, Monteith Tire, Oakwood Inn, Owens East and West, Patona Bay, Pie-Eyed Petey’s, Rice Ford, Reinholt’s Townsquare Furniture, Service Liquors, Schrader’s Automotive, Sleepy Owl, Stacey’s Inn, Tactical Walls, Tractor Supply, Turtlewax/Chris Cusick, WalMart, We Buy Guns-Don Smith and Dan Slone, Wildmans/Sportulas and Wyndam Gardens.
