Triton Sloppy In Lopsided Loss
BOURBON – Triton committed six turnovers and gave up 445 yards to North Judson in a 62-6 loss Friday night.
The Blue Jays ran for 408 of those yards, led by Jordan Schultz’s 163 yards and three total touchdowns. Schultz had two scores on the ground and one via catch. Brennan Wilde added 121 yards and two touchdown runs and quarterback Brice Wilde ran for two and threw for two more.
North Judson (6-1, 5-1 HNAC) hammered Triton from the start, taking a 35-0 lead in the first quarter and a 62-0 lead before Triton responded to break up the streak.
Jeremy Jones had the lone Triton touchdown on a 72-yard run in the third quarter. Jones, however, had just 82 total yards in the game and lost two fumbles. Triton managed just 107 total yards of offense.
The Trojans are 1-6 overall and will look to get its game righted next Friday at Knox. North Judson will host LaVille (6-1 HNAC) in a key Hoosier North showdown.
