Local Church To Host Fall Festival, Dinner
NEW PARIS — Bethany Church of the Brethren is inviting the community to a day of fall fun on Friday, Oct. 10. The church’s annual fall festival will feature great food and an opportunity to enjoy several homemade and baked items.
The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with a bazaar that will offer both tasty and crafty items. Noodles, bread, rolls, baked goods, craft items, apple butter and much more will be available for guests to purchase until 7 p.m. Quilts will be available courtesy of Bethany Ladies.
Proceeds from the bazaar will benefit needs with the church with 60 percent going toward outreach missions; 30 percent to the building fund; and 10 percent to emergency needs.
A pork dinner will take place from 4-7 p.m. Adult admission cost is $8; children 12 and under are $4. The meal will include a salad, dessert, homemade bread and a beverage. Drive through carry out will be offered from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for $6. The carry-out meal will offer pork, homemade bread, chips and a cookie.
The church is located on US 6, east of SR 15, New Paris.
