Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
1:24 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, West CR 300N, east of Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Janelle L. Hall, 25, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Hall lost control of her vehicle on the gravel road, skidding out of control. The vehicle went off the south side of the road hitting a large number of trees. Hall left the scene of the accident.
8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, East CR 75N, west of Stag Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Noah F. Beck, 28, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
4:17 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, SR 13, north of East Shoop Road, Pierceton. Driver: Lance J. Stanley, 34, East Old Road 30, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
9:42 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, Anchorage Road and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Sabrina E. Smith, 20, West Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, and Haley J. Richardson, 21, West CR 200N, Cromwell. Smith was southbound on North Detroit Street, made a left turn in front of the Richardson northbound vehicle, hitting the vehicle head on. Both drivers refused medical treatment. Damage up to $50,000.
1:36 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, Dubois Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Paul A. Shoemaker, 75, West CR 800S, Claypool, and Don C. Fleming, 82, South Clover Lane, Warsaw. Shoemaker was backing his vehicle from a parking space and backed into the Fleming vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
