Dr. Frank Louis Wadas
Dr. Frank Louis Wadas, D.D.S., age 73, of Warsaw, passed away at 2:34 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. He was born June 3, 1942, in East Chicago, to Joe and Dorothy (Piaskowy) Wadas.
Dr. Frank attended Marquette University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and obtained is Bachelors of Science. Upon graduation he was admitted to the Marquette Dental School graduating in 1967 with the Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He enlisted, in 1967, and faithfully served his country in the United Sates Army with the rank of Captain from 1967 to 1969, during the Vietnam Conflict, stationed in the Medical Unit at Ft. Knox, Kentucky.
He was united in marriage to Sue Coomer in Brandeburg, Ky., on Oct. 19, 1969. Formerly of Goshen, he opened the Dr. Frank L. Wadas, D.D.S. general dentistry practice in Milford. He has continued to operate the practice, along with his wife of 46 years, until his passing serving Milford and surrounding areas for over 45 years.
Survivors include his wife: Sue Wadas and daughter: Susan (Stace) Bechler, all of Warsaw.
Visitation hours are scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with Military rites conducted by Warsaw American Legion Post #49 and V.F.W. Post # 1126.
