Cub Scouts Race Through Warsaw
WARSAW — Approximately 240 Cub Scouts from throughout northeast Indiana have gathered this Saturday morning, Sept. 25, for the last of four racing events in the 15th annual Lincolnway Cub Mobile Race.
The event has scouts from throughout northeast Indiana competing one-on-one in homemade race cars, vying for first place in six classes, including featherweight, bantam, middle weight, fly weight, heavyweight and unlimited. Scouts also earn badges if they make it to all four races, which took place in Columbia City, Albion and Roanoke, besides the Warsaw race.
The scouts were all part of the greater Anthony Wayne Area Council, which includes the Lincolnway District, Miami District, Pokagon District, Thunderbird District and Wabash Valley District.
