WARSAW — Off the Shelf Reading Group meets from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1. Join others for coffee and discuss “Leaving Time” by Jody Piccoult.
Chess Club meets from 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday in October. For the beginner or expert, ages 13 and up. Bring a game if you have one.
Cookbook Club meets from 10-11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, to talk about apple recipes. Bring recipes to share, taste a dish.
Drop in Zone for teens is from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. Drop in to play video games and watch a movie. Grades 6-12 only.
Lake City Piecemakers Quilt Club meets in meeting room C from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9.
Genealogy club meets from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 13, for question and answer time. They will meet in meeting room c.
Social security planning for baby boomers is a workshop to help baby boomers make the right decisions before taking their social security. It will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Make it and take it crafts will have several Halloween crafts available to make from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14. Make one or all, cost is 25 cents to $1.50 each depending upon your selections. Registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult in a one to one ratio.
The book sale will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16.
Knit and Purl club meets from 6-7:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, for the beginner or the expert. Bring your projects as help is available.
Writers Club meets from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, for teens and adults. Topics are camping, autumn, and Halloween. Write your stories to share with others.
New release Movie has a movie about dinosaurs from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, and a movie about a military dog from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Hooked on Crochet meets from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. Bring your projects.
The “Remember Pete Seeger Concert” is from 6-15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. Spook Handy presents the music of Pete Seeger and Seeger’s legacy. Learn the stories behind the songs. Register for this concert.
Gluten Free Support Group meets from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21. Join others to learn what it means to be gluten free. Bring a gluten free dish to taste.
There will be a card making class from 6-7:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26. Make three cards with Faith Ketterer, a Stampin’ Up consultant. Register at the reference desk with a $4 non-refundable cash deposit. Pay additional $4 cash at time of class.
