Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
7:01 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, West CR 200S east of South CR 550W, Warsaw. Driver: Zachary T. Taylor, 26, West CR 200S, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:22 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 4546 E Fox Run Drive, Syracuse. Driver: James L. Hobbick, 17, East Fox Run Drive, Syracuse. Hit parked car. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:57 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, North Pointe Drive north of Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard D. Houser, 43, East CR 600N, Columbia City, and Christopher A. Payne, 51, South CR 200E, South Whitley. Houser became distracted and did not notice Payne had slowed his vehicle down. Houser’s vehicle rear-ended Payne’s. Damage up to $5,000.
8:05 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, East Center Street and Lake City Highway. Drivers: Tammy J. Prater, 45, East Main Street, Liberty Mills, and Kathleen M. Harper, 47, Shawnee Drive, Warsaw. While stopped at a stoplight, Prater’s vehicle rolled backwards into Harper’s vehicle. Harper later drove herself to Kosciusko Community Hospital with complaints of back pain. Damage up to $750.
