Teen Flown To Hospital, Injured When Bicycle Struck
NOBLE COUNTY — A 13-year-old Cromwell teenager suffered head and back injuries after the bicycle he was riding was struck by a vehicle at 11:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21. The accident was on US 33 at Cromwell Road. The accident is still under investigation.
The teenager was flown by Parkview Samaritan to Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Noble County Sheriff’s Department reports at 11:45 p.m. the department was notified of an accident involving a bicyclist. When deputies arrived it was found a vehicle struck the bicyclist then left the scene of the accident. The bicyclist was traveling northbound on US 33 near Cromwell Road when he was struck from the rear by a northbound vehicle.
