Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
10:09 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, North CR 450E west of North Third Place, Warsaw. Driver: Dawn M. Campbell, 38, Poplar Street, Huntington. Campbell dozed off and her vehicle went off the road, hitting a pole. Campbell complained of pain to the neck and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. A back seat passenger, Stephanie R. Lindley, 17, North Sullivan Road, Leesburg, complained of pain to the back but was not transported. Damage up to $25,000.
6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, West US 30 east of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Drivers: Andrea Jones-Stingley, 48, West 84th Drive, Merrillville, and Joseph Miser, 20, Stockton Court, Powell, Ohio. Powell stoppedĀ to yield to a police vehicle and Jones-Stingley’s vehicle collided with his. Passengers in the Jones-Stingley vehicle: Stella Jones, 66, West Koff Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis., complained of pain to the check and Tammy Stingley, 15, West 84th Drive, Merrillville, suffered an abrasion to the face. A passenger in Miser’s vehicle, Esther E. Dehmlow, 20, Fourth Street, Marietta, Ohio, complained of pain to the neck. No one was transported to a hospital from the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:07 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, North Huntington Street north of Medusa Street, Syracuse. Driver: James A. Fetters, 72, EMS D21 Lane, Syracuse. Hit side of Cool Beans building. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:33 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, North Detroit Street north of CR 250E, Warsaw. Drivers: Monica L. Ho, 21, Heron Boulevard, Warsaw, and Stephanie G. Ebright, 35, EMS B40A Lane, Leesburg. Ho and Ebright were stopped at a stoplight. When the light turned red, Ho proceeded and her vehicle rear-ended Ebright’s. Damage up to $1,000.
9:53 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, Anchorage Road and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Nicholas J. Muir, 25, Mineral Springs Avenue, Winona Lake, and Gabriella Gooding, 24, Popcorn Drive, Roanoke. Gooding was behind Muir when he stopped for a yellow light and her vehicle rear-ended his. Damage up to $10,000.
8:39 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, North Parker Street north of East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Maria Mercedes Velazq, 25, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw and Shane A. Swihart, 43, South Southwood Drive, Warsaw. Both vehicles were stopped at a stoplight, when the light turned green and Velazq proceeded, rear-ending Swihart’s vehicle. Swihart complained of neck pain but refused treatment. Damage up to $1,000.
