New Deputy Is A Third Generation Officer
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine has a new addition to the sheriff’s department’s roster. Deputy Sheriff Matthew Holderman recently replaced a vacancy within the department.
Holderman is a third generation officer with the department, following his father Larry Holderman, and grandfather, Stan Holderman. Holderman, a native of Kosciusko County, has been assigned to the road patrol division.
Holderman is a 2008 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, as well as a 2010 graduate of Vincennes University with an associates of science degree in law enforcement.
He began his law enforcement career as a confinement officer at the Kosciusko County Work Release Center in 2010, before moving to the jail division in 2011.
Rovenstine stated Holderman was selected from a large group of excellent candidates and will be a great asset to the department as well as the citizens of Kosciusko County.
