Bingo For Beaman Home
WARSAW — As part of October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Beaman Home, our area’s emergency shelter and outreach center for victims of domestic violence, will hold their annual Bingo fundraiser Oct. 15 at the Center Lake Pavilion in Warsaw.
The public is invited to join the fun and support the shelter at the same time, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Providing coordination for the fundraiser are members of Altrusa International of Warsaw who established the Beaman Home in 1985. This year’s theme is “Grow Your Awareness of Domestic Violence.”
Tickets for the event are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Ticket price includes bingo cards, a meal and a chance to win a door prize. Indiana gaming regulations restrict participants to those 18 and over. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Beaman Home’s new Outreach Center at 603 N. Parker St., Warsaw or phone the Beaman Home Administration Office at (574) 703-0722. Those interested may also email [email protected].
All proceeds benefit the programs and services of the Beaman Home, which has served this community’s domestic violence victims and their dependent children for over 30 years.
The Beaman Home has operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week since 1985 and is currently conducting a campaign to add a new two-story emergency shelter on the west end of their new Outreach Center at the Parker Street site.
