Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:39 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, East US 30 east of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Drivers: Bradley R. Slone, 28, North Webster, and Andy A. Lopresto, 41, Reading, Mich. Slone became distracted and his vehicle rear-ended Lopresto’s semi-truck. Slone had lacerations to the head and Lopresto was uninjured. Damage up to $25,000.
10:31 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7, West SR 14 west of South CR 200W, Warsaw. Driver: Zachary M. Vigar, 22, Roann. Vigar was driving his motorcycle when a bird hit him, causing him to crash. He and his female passenger, a minor, both refused medical treatment. Damage up to $10,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
7:44 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, East Epworth Forest Road and Albert Eckert Drive, North Webster. Drivers: Kayla N. Smits, 21, North Webster and Thomas R. McClintic, 71, Milford. Smits became distracted while driving and her vehicle rear-ended McClintic’s vehicle. Damage up to $750.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
9:42 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, North Detroit Street and East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Brendan G. Bright, 36, Warsaw, and David E. Anderson, 68, Warsaw. Bright ran a red light and his vehicle collided with Anderson’s. Damage up to $10,00.
9:21 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Brooke N. Rhodes, 18, Warsaw. Hit parked car. Damage up to $2,500.
9:14 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 848 East Smith St., Warsaw. Driver: Hali K. Ruisard, 23, Cromwell. Hit parked car. Damage up to $1,000.
