Elkhart Native Palmer Waived By Broncos
ELKHART – Nathan Palmer, a former standout at Elkhart Central High School, was waived by the Denver Broncos on Tuesday.
Wide receiver Palmer, who spent most of the 2014 season on the Broncos’ practice squad, was one of three players released in order to trim the roster to 75 plays heading into Week 4 preseason games.
Palmer, who played collegiately at Northern Illinois, was on the Colts’ roster in 2012. The 26-year old has also spent time with the 49ers and the Dolphins.
NFL teams must be down to 53-man rosters before their opening regular-season games.
