Glorea A. Bell
Glorea A. Bell, 82, North Manchester, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
Glorea was born on March 16, 1932, to Warren and Eloise (Peabody) Grossnickle, both deceased. She was a secretary at Bell Accounting in North Manchester from 1963-2005, and married Weldon F. Bell on Jan. 22, 1954. He died on Oct. 1, 2008.
She is survived by daughters: Sharlyn K. Bell; Lori A. Bell; Sandra D. Bell; and Jennifer L. Bell, all of North Manchester; sisters: Carol Paxson, Fort Wayne; those she considered grandchildren: Justin (Melissa) Moore, Salt Lake City, Utah; Kaylie Moore, North Manchester; Jamia (Derrick) Ball, Franklin; Jaina (Christopher Schott) Alexander, Chicago; and Jenna Alexander, Beech Grove; those she considered great-grandchildren: Wyatt Warner, Beech Grove; and Kinley Moore, North Manchester.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She graduated from Chester High School in 1951. She and her husband Weldon owned Bell’s Acounting in North Manchester for 40 years. She and her husband traveled to all 50 states and they enjoyed traveling with special friends Arthur and Carolyn Witbart and Richard and Carole DeLeon.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, and one hour prior to the funeral. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Peabody Chapel, North Manchester, officiated by Rev. Sue Babovec and Jeff Grossnickle. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
