Ivy Tech Appoints New Executive Director
INDIANAPOLIS – Ivy Tech Community College is pleased to announce that Annette Lamb is joining Ivy Tech Foundation to serve as executive director of development operations under the leadership of Ivy Tech Foundation President John Murphy. She will begin her position on Sept. 8.
Lamb most recently served as senior director of development at Purdue Research Foundation in student life. She was responsible for implementing and executing fundraising plans, as well as supervising the student life development office.
She traveled nationally and internationally, raising major gifts for Purdue University, and most recently raising a total of $6.1 million in the last fiscal year. She also developed a multi-year fundraising campaign totaling more than $30 million and raised money for four major building campaigns.
Before assuming her position of senior director of development, she served as director of development in the same area at Purdue. While in that position, she surpassed set fundraising goals, and in 2013, raised $2.5 million. Over the last seven years, she has raised a total of $17 million in donations.
Lamb also previously served in the positions of director of development for the Black Cultural Center; and director of development for the President’s Council; all at Purdue University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University with highest distinction.
