Volleyball Struggles Continue At Bremen
It’s been feast or famine in the early going for the Lady Trojan volleyball squad. After sweeping Oregon-Davis at home and being swept by John Glenn on the road in the opening week, Triton suffered another 3-0 loss on the road, this time Tuesday at Bremen.
Triton coach Samantha Willsey’s alma mater had no pity for the former spiker, beating her team 25-12, 25-22, 25-14.
Triton could not get any power offense going against the Lions, recording just 15 total kills the entire night, eight of which came from Jaela Meister.
Nicole Sechrist had six digs, four kills and two aces and Hannah Wanemacher had 12 assists.
Triton’s JV also lost 25-24, 25-6.
The Lady Trojans (1-2) will visit Pioneer Thursday to open HNAC play.
