LCCA Announces Change In Artist
WINONA LAKE — The Bulldogs, 50s and 60s Rock ‘n’ Roll are returning to the Warsaw area in October.
Due to severe medical problems, a change has been made for the Oct. 3, 2015, concert at Rodeheaver Auditorium. Mr. Buchanan, the original artist for the evening, required brain surgery earlier in July, therefore, he is unable to make his scheduled fall concert tour which included a concert for the Lakeland Community Concert Association.
To replace Mr. Buchanan, the Lakeland Community Concert Association has signed a contract to have the Bulldogs in concert at 7 p.m. Oct. 3. This is the same date and time that was scheduled for Mr. Buchanan’s concert, therefore, there is no time or date change required, just the artist.
This group, from the Fort Wayne area, used to be Spike and the Bulldogs, but Spike retired almost two years ago and the Bulldogs have continued to sing and play to packed rooms all over northern Indiana and surrounding communities.
The Bulldogs, the tri-state’s premier rock and roll oldies band, plays the vintage music of the ’50s and ’60s from such artists as Buddy Holly, The Beach Boys, Bill Haley and the Righteous Brothers. They come to Warsaw very highly recommended.
Anyone not holding a season ticket for this concert season will be able to purchase tickets at the door for $20 per person. Season tickets are still available for only $45 for all five concerts.
