Ball State Announces Spirit Scholarship Opportunity
MUNCIE — Students always have had fun attending Ball State athletic events – but now they have a shot at having half of their in-state tuition paid for them for an entire semester!
In addition to the always growing Ball State Student Rewards Program, this fall Ball State Athletics is introducing the Chirp! Chirp! Spirit Scholarship Contest.
There are two, fun-filled ways for students to win:
-Attend the Ball State football game vs. Central Michigan on Oct. 24 at Scheumann Stadium.
Students simply need to attend this Family Weekend game and present their student IDs at the contest kiosk by the end of the first quarter and again during the fourth quarter. One winner will be randomly selected on Monday, Oct. 26. As always, admission is free with a valid Ball State ID.
-Attend specified Ball State soccer, women’s volleyball and field hockey home games.
Students simply need to attend the soccer game on Sept. 25 (vs. Eastern Michigan, 5 p.m., Briner Sports Complex), the women’s volleyball game on Oct. 2 (vs. Northern Illinois, 7 p.m., Worthen Arena) and the field hockey game on Oct. 11 (vs. Bellarmine, 1 p.m., Briner Sports Complex).
To be eligible, students must attend each of the three events listed and must present their student IDs at the contest kiosk within 15 minutes of the start of the event and at the conclusion of the event. One winner will be randomly selected on Monday, Oct. 12. As always, admission is free to each event with a valid Ball State ID.
The two selected students each will win a scholarship that will pay half of in-state tuition for one semester.*
Students with questions may call the Ball State Athletics Marketing office at 765-285-3242.
*The scholarship is nontransferable and contains no cash value. Only current Ball State University undergraduate students are eligible.
