Parkview Muddy Trail Run Offers New Perspective
PLEASANT LAKE – Get down and dirty on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Parkview Muddy Trail Run. The event will be hosted at the Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation, 2282 West 500 South, Pleasant Lake, in Steuben County (10 minutes off I-69, exit 340), rain or shine.
Created for those who think differently about their running, the Parkview Muddy Trail Run isn’t an average 5K. The fun begins at 9 a.m. and includes a mud pit, hay bale climb, river run and sand dune climb, all spaced out on the 5K course. Form a team or be a solo participant. Either way, participants will laugh with new and old friends who will help pull, push, drag, or cheer runners across the finish line.
Registration fees are $45 per person and participants who register before the end of August will receive a free T-shirt. Every participant gets a sausage and pancake breakfast.
The Parkview Muddy Trail Run is a partnership of Junior Achievement and Anthony Wayne Area Council Boy Scouts of America. Proceeds will benefit both local organizations, and registrants can direct their support.
