Wolcotville Business Robbed At Gunpoint, Police Asking For Public’s Help
LAGRANGE COUNTY — The Indiana State Police and the Wolcottville Police Departments are asking for the public’s assistance in helping to solve an armed robbery that occurred today at M.C. Surplus, located at 201 Orange Street in Wolcottville.
Preliminary investigation by State Police Detective Deven Hostetler revealed at approximately noon today, Aug. 12, a man and a woman entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the employee. They were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash and no one was injured.
The suspects are described as:
White male, late 20s, 5-foot, 10 inches, 160 pounds, short hair, white hat, light green T-shirt and shorts.
White female, late 20s, 5-foot, 4 inches, 140 pounds, shoulder length brown hair, yellow shirt and shorts
They were also believed to have been in a two-tone green pickup truck described as a small cab-and-a-half, late ’80s to early ’90s.
