Sentencings
The following individuals were recently sentenced in a Kosciusko County court to serve time in jail.
July 13
- Ricky Anthony Johnson, 35, 427 E. 1150N, Milford, sentenced for resisting law enforcement using a vehicle. He was sentenced to six months in the Kosciusko County Jail. In addition, his driving privileges and ability to plate and register a vehicle have been suspended.
- Danny Ray Cook Jr., 35, 2510 Oriole Lane, Warsaw, sentenced for possession of a precursor. He was sentenced to one year in the Kosciusko County Jail following completion of the residential program at Serenity House.
- Eric Bautista Garza, 42, 340 East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, sentenced for driving while suspended. He was sentenced to 365 days in the Kosciusko County Jail, to be suspended based on terms set by the court. He was also sentenced for probation violation to 90 days in the county jail.
July 10
- Esteban Palos, 21, 1692 E. 200N, Warsaw, sentenced for operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 60 days in the Kosciusko County Jail, with 54 days suspended upon conditions set by the court. He was also sentenced for possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 180 days in the Kosciusko County Jail, with 174 days suspended, with the remaining six days to run concurrently with his sentence for OWI.
- Curtis Alexander Humphrey, 34, 8385 N. 400E, Howe, sentenced for operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 60 days in the Kosciusko County Jail, with 52 days suspended. His driver’s license was suspended for 180 days.
- Quinn A. Brown, 23, 316 S. High St., Warsaw, sentenced for probation violation. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 120 days in the Kosciusko County Jail and permitted to participate in the work release program.
July 9
- Sara Francine Rivera, 29, 111 S. Wood St., Warsaw, sentenced for operating while intoxicated. She was sentenced to 60 days in the Kosciusko County Jail, with 54 days suspended upon conditions set by the court.
- Kayla Anne Waltz, 27, 418 S. Union St., Warsaw, sentenced for probation violation. She was sentenced to 90 days in the Kosciusko County Jail. She will be permitted to participate in the work release program.
- William Sherman Richey, 44, 2138 Parkview Place, South Bend, sentenced for theft. He was sentenced to two years in the Kosciusko County Jail, with three months of his sentence to be served on probation.
July 2
- Hannah Lynn Rogers, 28, 340 E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, sentenced for probation violation. All but 30 days of her probation were revoked and she was sentenced to 11 months in the Kosciusko County Jail, in addition to the underlying sentence.
July 1
- Timothy Jacob Furney, 20, 72622 CR 133, Syracuse, sentenced for intimidation. He was sentenced to 365 days in the Kosciusko County Jail, with 345 days suspended and Furney placed on probation upon conditions set by the court.
June 20
- Tanner David Miller, 19, 502 Legend Drive, Bourbon, sentenced for probation violation. Miller’s original probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 30 days in the Kosciusko County jail and permitted to participate int the work release program if qualifications are met.
