Grace College Offering Classes For Aspiring Entrepreneurs
WINONA LAKE — Grace College will be putting on FastTrac New Venture classes starting this fall. The classes are designed for current small business owners who need to obtain business skills and/or aspiring entrepreneurs who have an idea but need help with learning how to launch their business or take their product to market.
The classes will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 27 through Oct. 29. There will be a total of 10 weeks of classes, and they will be held at the Grace College MOCC, Room 201. The 10-week long course costs $595, which includes the textbook and resources. To register, sign up at the FastTrac website.
FastTrac New Venture will provide opportunities for young entrepreneurs to learn the basics of starting and maintaining your own business, while engaging with other entrepreneurs young and old.
One of the more important aspects of the classes will be the opportunity for networking. Attendees will be able to meet other entrepreneurs and business owners, as well as veteran professors with high-level experience in the field. The goal is for people to establish relationships that will last for years, while also developing a working knowledge of business fundamentals.
This will be the fourth time this class has been offered to the community. There will be five professors who are certified with expertise in marketing, accounting, finance, information technology and management.
