Patricia L. ‘Pat’ Eaton
Patricia L. “Pat” Eaton, age 65, of Wakarusa, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
She had been in ill health since April. Patricia was born Feb. 27, 1950, in North Manchester to Arlo and Mary Helen (Brookins) Spangle. Patricia was a graduate of Manchester College and received her Master’s Degree from St. Mary’s College in Fort Wayne. She had taught school at Calumet High School in Gary. She also taught at Plymouth and was doing substitution work at Wa-Nee School Coroporation.
Surviving are her daughters: Rachael (John) Brown, Nappanee; Sarah (Tracy) Soper, Richmond; grandchildren: Kade Soper; Tyler Brown; Mason Soper; Heidi Brown; and a brother: Bob (Kay) Spangle, North Manchester.
Family and friends may call from 2 p.m to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at First Church of God. Rev. Sam Bennett will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to College Fund for her grandchildren.
